ECCO (2025)

ECCO is a four-channel sonic installation that explores the spatiality of projected sound in reverberant spaces. The work consists of three handmade directional projection speakers, mounted on mobile tripods. Each speaker emits a distinct focused beam of sound, carefully tuned and positioned to activate the reverberant qualities of the space in which they are situated. As these audio projections collide with the room, they generate complex patterns of reflection, delay, and decay inspired by the navigational methods of bats and other echolocating species.

ECCO invites the audience into the environment alone or with others, as their movements and positions shape the experience in real time.
